About the Author

Craig Anderson is the founder and Executive Director of Our History Project. He has spent many years researching, studying and exploring local and national history. His research and support lead to the founding of Nash Farm Battlefield and it's re-classification by the National Park Service. He is an advocate of teaching and preserving history. He has been instrumental in bringing the detecting community of researchers, historians and archeologist together; which he is still working hard at. He has worked in conjunction with Henry County Civil War Historian Mark Pollard for more than 10 years, providing research, mapping and investigation support on local history.


He has participated in archeological surveys and digs with the Lamar Institute, Georgia DOT and the National Forest Service.  


He is on the Board of Directors of Nash Farm Battlefield as well as the Webmaster for that organization.  He was an Officer with DeKalb County Georgia for 10 years when he froze his retirement to pursue a career in graphics. He built Anderson Graphic to a full scale print shop and in 2001 sold his interest in the company. He received his A+ certification from COMPTIA and worked as a Bench Technician for COMPUSA until the company closed in 2007. During this time he was a professional sports photographer for Southern Sports Week and Georgia Football Magazine.  In 2009 he combined his love of history and the technology of the day and brought to life Our History Project, Incorporated. 


Craig is a member of the Organization of American Historians, American Historical Association, American Military Writers Society, The Georgia Historical Research and Artifacts Group and the Sons of Confederate Veterans, (Sons of the American Revolution pending). He has written several articles for American Digger Magazine and Embracing History Magazine. His main interest of study is Cartography, Archeology and War History. Other than this book he is currently working on a non-fiction novel series in the fantasy realm with a basis on world military history.
